Fondazione Milan

WHO WE ARE

Fondazione Milan was founded on February 20th, 2003 thanks to determination of A.C. Milan, as the club has always been active and sensitive in helping people in need, with a sound, reliable and recognisable structure that supports activities intended to promote social welfare with a constant awareness of the fundamental importance for the well-being of all the community.


OUR PROJECTS


Since its inception, Fondazione Milan has supported 39 projects, raising proceeds of over 2 million euro. A number of the completed projects are listed below:

Fondazione Milan for South Africa children. All about the project.

Reconstruction and expansion on an asylum in the Marè community of  Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Colaboration with the Perfetti Van Melle agency to support the Gol de Letra Brazilian association which takes care of the educational and cultural development of children and young people from socially-disadvantage backgrounds. Building of a new playground for the “Lega del Filo d’Oro” Association in Ancona that operates to assist, educate, rehabilitate and reinsert back into the community those who are deaf-blind and have multi-sensory problems.
 


MILAN FOUNDATION FOR THE "V. BUZZI" HOSPITAL OF MILAN

Development of the High Speciality Center on diagnosis and treatment of vascular anomalies in childhood.
Our new important project wchich will see Fondazione Milan involved in the 2008/09 season pays special attention to children. After having made all the efforts in fund-raising to create the new Neonatology and Intensive Care unit at the Holy Family Hospital in Nazareth, Fondazione Milan continues to look after “home” need and chooses to contribute to development of the High Speciality Center on diagnosis and treatment of vascular anomalies in childhood at the Buzzi Hospital in Milan. 

The Fondazione milan’s project

Thanks to the Fondazione Milan and its contribution, the Centre will have new spaces for exclusive use, with machineries in the vanguard and specialized staff. Everything is necessary in order to officially consider the Centre a landmark on national scale. The Fondazione Milan participation can be quantified in 400 thousands Euro. The sum will allow on the one hand new improvements such as: hospital rooms, examination rooms and confinement rooms for the little patients and their parents, on the other hand  new medical equipment and a better technical know-how for this new Hospital’s area. The aim of the project is to create a comfortable place for the little patients providing suitable spaces to do specific tests and day hospital therapies in a place with a specialized and competent healthcare staff.
