AC MILAN ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF ITS NEW & IMPROVED OFFICIAL WEBSITE, NOW WITH AN E-COMMERCE SECTION

AC Milan, become the most successful Club in the world after the Victory of the last FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP held in Japan in December 2007, announces the release of its Japanese official website, including new e-commerce pages.                                    

The official website of the “Rossoneri”, developed in 6 languages (Italian, English, Spanish, Brazilian/Portuguese, Chinese and Japanese), boasts 1,4 million of visitors and 33 million of pages viewed monthly. AC Milan wants to offer to the Japanese fans a renewed Japanese version developed with an important local partner as Amazing Sports Lab Japan; in order to provide new and exclusive contents and services tailor-made for the Japanese Community on: www.jp.acmilan.com

“When we came back to Japan last December to play the FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP” – explains Giuliano Giorgetti, AC Milan WEB & CRM Project Manager “We were struck by the affection and by the warmth of the Japanese fans. That’s why we decided to renew the website with the help of a valuable partner as ASLJ, in order to offer to our supporters something more than a mere translation. Fans will gain an exclusive communication channel while AC Milan will consolidate even more its brand in Japan”.
This new media represents a strategic initiative for the establishment of a direct communication channel between the Japanese fans and the Italian club. The objective of AC Milan is to bring supporters in Japan even closer to the Club and foster the creation of a large local community.
The Japanese website project is part of AC Milan’s internationalization strategy, designed to offer to the millions of AC Milan fans widespread all over the world the most suitable website.
