MILAN - During the Seattle final, Beckham initiated with a long ball for Donovan the move that brought Los Angeles in front in the first half with Magee. David also converted a penalty in the shoot-out. At the end of the match, he said he
"played with three infiltrations in my ankle and felt pain from the first 15 minutes of the first half. Too bad for the result, the penalties are a kind of Russian roulette, you never know how it will end. I remain proud to have been a protagonist of this event, with my team mates."
