After the victory against Atalanta there were positive comments but also a lot of apprehension for Alexandre Pato's physical conditions. There is no tear but the Brazilian will be evaluated carefully in the coming hours.
MILAN - In the post match of Milan-Atalanta there was satisfaction for the result but also a lot of apprehension for Pato's physical conditions, as expressed by Delegate Administrator Adriano Galliani:
"Pato? We'll see, the lad is feeling less pain, it's not serious but it's hard to say now how long he will be out. Certainly it's not a tear. The lad doesn't feel too much pain, so let's hope, it will take a few days to understand his condition better. Also Berlusconi immediately informed himself on Pato's condition, our president is always very close to our problems. Now we've earned 12 points in 4 games, we aren't a bad team, but we knew that, we only have to be calm. Jankulovski entered the game well, we have wide players who can push and he, who didn't want to go to Inter, is one of them. I'd like to have a smile on my face but this Pato injury worries me because the next games are too important and the idea of losing him for Roma and Manchester isn't nice. Thiago? He wanted to play despite being a booking away from suspension, in the league every match is important and no one ever wanted to remove him from the first-choice formation. I spoke to Diego Della Valle, Fiorentina were impeccable with us, no one made polemics against Milan, but let's not talk about the past. Today? We also suffered in the first half but fortunately we have Ronaldinho. All of our goals come from his feet, from his inventions. He only has to be careful on the penalties. We have a great attack, we have players who integrate well together, speed, flair and power. Ronaldinho's future? He remains at Milan, there are no problems. In Rome it won't be easy, but let's enjoy these three points which move us clear of those behind us. We have improved our league position and that's very important."
Also Leonardo commented on the Rossoneri's performance:
"Today we had our difficulties, we didn't create enough moves at the start but we were coming from a heavy period which took away our energies. We were intelligent to strike at the right moment and raise our center of gravity for the remainder of the match. Today I'm particularly happy for Janku, he had few opportunities because of his injury and today he did very well. Ronaldinho? He also did very well, he's in a great moment, he gives us a constant alternative and he gives us numerical superiority in every area of the pitch. Now we're just a bit worried for Pato, but maybe it's not serious. In Rome? It will be a tough and nice match, we still have a good chance to improve our position."
