GILARDINO: ‘We are united and we want to get out of this situation’

Alberto Gilardino spoke after training today with the Azzurri:
‘Milan has no immediate need to buy new players and that’s not the principal problem. We are a tight group and we must remain compact.
‘We created a lot of opportunities against Roma but we were unfortunate. However, we are all attached to the team and to this season. We all really want to get out of this moment.
‘I am happy to be back with my national side, that’s certain. This is a special place and I hope to play Wednesday.’
