MILANELLO - Here are the declarations made to Milan Channel's microphones by Philippe Senderos at the end of today's training session:
Philippe, do you feel ready to go on the pitch Sunday in case the coach doesn't play you from the start?
"I feel better and I hope that also the coach notices the fact that slowly I am getting back to my level. I hope I have more chances to show my value.
To find security on the pitch a defender needs two or three games to find the rhythm. I hope, in fact, to have the opportunity to go on the pitch in a few more matches to get used to the playing rhythms completely again."
On Sunday night you face Lazio.
"It will be a match in which the defence will be seriously tested because Lazio are a team with quality players up front. Lately they have not obtained great results, they are in a delicate moment and I think that in front of their crowd they will want to show a reaction. Let's hope we create many chances up front."
How do you see Milan right now?
"At the moment Milan are not lacking anything. Also Wednesday night we created many chances, we should have scored more of them to get back on the pitch in the second half with more security. The team still played with a good mentality, but in the second half they came back more determined and stronger and at the end there was a bit of bad luck."
What difference is there between home games and away games?
"The mentality of the team doesn't change between home games and away games, but the opponents change. Let's hope we go on the pitch on Sunday and play a match like the one against Bologna, trying to play our game."
