  1. What are the rules to publish my images on the A.C.Milan PhotoBlog?

First of all, you must be registered at the Milan community.
The images can be sent by using the specific page, they must be supplied with an obligatory title and an optional description, and then a category, of which the photo is part of, must be indicated.
The images cannot be offensive, of bad taste or pornographic; for rights reasons, images of football pitches, players or teams cannot be accepted. The editorial staff will decide at its own judgement whether to publish the images or not.
  2. What format must the images sent to PhotoBlog be in?

It is necessary to set up an image in the Jpg, Gif or Bmp format, other formats will not be acepted. The image cannot be bigger than 500kb.
The system automatically resizes your photos, therefore we suggest not to exceed the maximum resolution of 720 pixel for the bigger side.
The photo can be either in rectangular or square form, where the relation between width and height is always kept.
  3. Is it possible to send photos without being registered?

    No, it is not possible.
  4. How much time passes before a photo is published on PhotoBlog?

The time varies and depends from various factors. When a photo is sent, our system processes and resizes it in the right format.
Once the photo is ready, an operator from the editorial staff of ACMilan.com must examine it to decide if it can be published and this is generally done during office hours.
This means that a photo sent on Friday evening will not be published before Monday.
  5. How do I see my photos which have been published?

It’s sufficient to click on the “Send your photo” button after logging in, in the send page where them photos are visualized.
  6. How do I find a specific author who is registered to PhotoBlog?

On the side menu, there’s a “Search” section which allows to search amongst the photos through the titles and description also for the name of the author, therefore if you know the nickname, you just need to enter it inside the search form.
If you want to see the complete list of the authors, go to “The Wall”.
  7. Do you need the permission of a person to publish his photo on PhotoBlog?

Yes, it is necessary to have his explicit consent, therefore before publishing an image make sure that the subject knows that you are going to publish his photo on a website.
  8. Is it possible to cancel the images I sent on PhotoBlog?

Yes, it is possible but you will have to send an email to query@acmilan.it asking for the cancellation of the photo. In the email you have to indicate the reason for the cancellation, the Title of the photo and the date the photo was sent.
  9. The button to vote is gray, what does it mean?

If the button to vote is gray, it means that you are seeing your own photo, therefore you cannot vote. In fact you can only vote the photos of others.
If the button is gray and has the words “You have already voted” it means that you have already expressed your preference for that photo and therefore you cannot vote again.
