Massimiliano Allegri received the prize Golden Bridle award yesterday. The twentieth edition took place at the Garden Hotel. The event was sponsored by the AIA Section of Siena.

Over the last two seasons Milan have gathered more points than any other club in Serie A, with 162 points.

Nineteen Milan players scored in the league. The 74 goals made the team the top goalscorers with nearly the whole squad scoring at least one goal.

After all the emotion of the final day of Serie A action, the words from club CEO Adriano Galliani: “We’ll miss these extraordinary champions, men who kept the changing room the way it should be, good men. The end of an era.”

An emotional end to the season at the end of Milan-Novara as players that have made history with the club say their goodbyes. Gattuso, Nesta, Zambrotta, Van Bommel and Inzaghi are all on their way and the fans made their final afternoon one that will never be forgotten.

The final day of the 2011/2012 season sees Milan overcome Novara 2-1. The main players of the game were the same that have written the club’s history over the past decade. Pippo Inzaghi finds the back of the net one last time on his 300th game for the Rossoneri.
