We deserved this result for our desire and attitude, and after always keeping hold of the ball. After an injury it’s never easy to recover, mentally and physically, but I’ve worked well with the coach and the staff. I like my new position on the wing. It’s normal to prefer to play as a forward, but I’ll gladly play both positions. These are 3 very important points, you don’t always win playing well. We’ll take these 3 points and move forwards."
MILAN – Andrea Vassallo, who scored a brace in today’s 3-1 victory by the youth sector side over Cesena, spoke to the Milan Channel: "It’s easy for us forwards to have chances coming off the bench, especially in these 2 weeks which are full of fixtures. We need to have the same spirit and make sure we’re always ready. Cagliari will be a hard away match. Let’s hope we can continue with this positive run of results."
MILAN – Youth team coach Cristian Brocchi spoke to the Milan Channel after his players beat Cesena 3-1 earlier today. These were his comments: "I’m happy with the win because even in the difficult moments, we continue to go searching for the win by playing football. We faced a very closed side today, but we were patient. They scored, but our reaction was excellent by continuing to play all the football. I retain Mastalli an important player for my team and an example for the youth sector. He should be used as an example and I am happy with how he is doing. Piccinocchi is recovering and he will have his chances to show his abilities. Mastour’s performance was good. There are many watching him and it’s normal that he’s marked closely. The thing that’s nice to see is that he takes hits and stays quiet. He plays with the team and for the team, this is very positive."
