BIG MILAN PRESENCE AT THE GAME FOR PEACE

MILAN - Paolo Maldini, Filippo Inzaghi, Sulley Muntari, Alessandro Nesta, Andriy Shevchenko and Ronaldinho will all be playing in the religious Game for Peace at the Olimpico in Rome on Monday September 1st at 8.45pm. The exhibition match is a mix of best players from past and present who all represent different cultures and religions: biddhists, cristians (from catholic to protestant and evangelical), jews, hindus, muslims and shintos. It is a unique occasion to show how much sport, and football in particular, can send out a positive message about faith and fraternity all in the name of peace.

The Olympic stadium in Rome will be sending out television, radio and web signals to the entire world. The funds raised by the event - an idea that came directly from Pope Francis and was organised by Scholas Occurrentes and the PUPI Foundation - will used entirely for the 'An Alternative to Life' project that offers support to thousands of children in Buenos Aires and promotes the development of Schools.

EGIDIO CALLONI TO MILAN CHANNEL: "ALWAYS RETURNING TO MILANELLO A THRILL"

MILANELLO - Former Milan striker Egidio Calloni was at Milanello today and spoke to Milan Channel: "When it comes to Milanello there is always emotion. Pazzini is an important player, he will definitely be so again this year. I think that Conte's visit as Italy coach may have been a boost to the possible internationals such as Pazzini and El Shaarawy. I think this year after the departure of Balotelli, El Shaarawy will have more space and we will see the best of El Shaarawy. Niang is young player, he has great physical power and always gets past the man. It could be the wing positions that serve Milan. Menez already known in the Italian league, he can play any role. For me he is number 10, a support-striker, then it all depends on how the coach plays. I am a fan now and a fan wants to see his team win."
