Milan through to the semi finals of the Tim Cup thanks to stunning display and five goals.
Cittadella were only dangerous in the first few minutes of the game, then it was all Milan. Great bit of play from Carmona on 20 minutes when he dribbled past the entire defence only to see his shot blocked by Zompa but the rebound fell to Fossati and he beat the keeper easily to make it 1-0.
On 37 minutes Milan increased the pace and doubled theirlead with Ganz, played in beautifully by Fossati. Just one minute later came the third goal, scored by Simone Verdi who beat the goal keeper with a neat volley.
The flood gates opened up at the end of the half when Ganz's smart backheel went in off the post to make it 4-0.
The music didn't change in the second half as Milan continued to play good football. Then on 17 minutes Cittadella got a goal back when Dellavalle beat Di Fabio. Just 8 minutes later they made it two with Martignago who took advantage of a bad pass from Di Fabio.
Despite the two goals from Cittadella, Milan continued to control the match and they went close to adding to their lead on more than one occasion. Eventually the fifth goal arrived thanks to Gaeta's angled shot.
Stroppa lad's celebrated their last game of 2010 in the best of ways and are now in the semifinals of the competition for the third year in a row.
