Shirts worn by the Milan players during the match against Bari, commemorating Italy's 150 years of unity, will be on auction until April 1st.
MILAN -A new initiative was launched today by Milan Foundation in collaboration with Radio Italia. The shirts of Nesta, Ibrahimovic and Seedorf worn during the game against Bari will be on auction until March 28th - they were the shirts celebrating the 150 years of Italian unity.
All the shirts will be signed by the players an they also have a patch celebrating the historic event. Then from March 29th to April 1st, the shirts of Gattuso, Pato and Cassano will go under the hammer.
All the proceeds from this very special auction will go towards the 'Alice for Children' project which aims to build a home for 24 orphans in Kenya, pay for the sanitation for all the orphans involved and also launch the very first football league in Africa for the slums.
