In 2011-2012 Urby Emanuelson has stepped up: in this part of the 2011 Championship he was replaced 10 times and played from the start on two occasions. Since early 2012, however, he has started 11 games and made only one as a replacement.

MILAN - Urby Emanuelson has become a regular at Milan in 2011-2012. Last season, his appearances in the championship were 9 plus 2 in Tim Cup this year, to date, Emanuelson is only Milan player never absent through injury, making 24 appearances in the Championship, three in the Tim Cup, six in Champions League and one in the Italian Super Cup.

In 2012, he has played 11 games in the Championship from the first minute and in one game, Milan-Lazio 2-0, he was replaced. In the first part of the 2011 championship, Emanuelson made 10 substitutions and only started two games: Milan-Catania-Milan Cesena 1-0 and 4-0.

Used in four positions (right and left midfield, midfielder and even left back in the second half of Novara), Emanuelson has sparked the team that led to scoring in the game-turning match at Udine, in addition he has scored two goals, against Cesena and Parma. Massimiliano Allegri has always backed the player, in response to concerns that Urby was yet to convince, but he has proved his coach correct at just the right time.
