MILANO – Emirates, Milan’s sponsor, have linked up two principal world cities with a trans-Atlantic route from Milan to New York.
The VIP delegation was made up of Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline; Thierry Antinori, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer; Hubert Frach,Divisional Senior Vice President Commercial Operations West; Thierry Aucoc, Senior Vice President Commercial Operations for Europe and Russia as well as Fabio Cannavaro.
“This route shows how Emirates continues to strengthen the internal connections of an ever more globalized economy, allowing for the growth of international commerce, tourism investment opportunities and personal connections between the continents,” said Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airlines.
“Connecting Milan, an industrial and economic capital with New York, a commercial and tourist centre will help economic activities” he added.
The Emirates flight EK205 leaves from Dubai at 9.05 and arrives in Milan at 13.50, leaving for New York at 16.00 and arriving at 19.00 that day. The return flight EK206 leaves New York at 22.20 and arrives in Milan at 12.15 the next day. The flight leaves Milan at 14.00 and arrives in Dubai at 22.05.
The Milan-New York plane is a Boeing 777-300ER with 8 places in first class, 42 in Business Class and 310 in Economy.
All passengers can take advantage of almost 15.00 channels of on board entertainment as well as first calss meals on board.
