The players began preparations ahead of AS Roma-Milan this Friday.

MILANELLO – The players returned to the Milanello Sports Centre yesterday and began preparations ahead of Roma-Milan this Friday at the Stadio Olimpico.
In the first part of the session, the players did a warm-up which included a jog and some running drills with the use of the cones and obstacles.
Following that, the players were divided into 3 groups and took part in 5 v 5 practice matches.
The training session lasted one hour and a half and it ended with an exercise which worked on crosses from deep and the positioning of the players.
Individuals: Michael Essien and Stephan El Shaarawy took part in the entire session with the group.
Keisuke Honda did some sprints on the raised pitch at Milanello before heading back indoors to work on his personalised training programme in the gym.
The players will train again today at 15.00 at the Milanello Sports Centre.
