The Milan Golf Tour is continuing and the grand final will take place at Campo Carlo Magno in Madonna di Campiglio from July 20 to 22 but the tour concluded at Conte di Bogogno (Novara) on June 11. Mauro Tassotti, Stefano Nava, Marco Simone and Italy coach Roberto Donadoni all took part along with former cyclist Giuseppe Baldoni amongst others. Team Salvini Gioielli – comprising of Giampietro Gonzato, Paolo Fontana, Romano Zuin and Sergio Zioni, won with a score of 90 points.
Former Milan striker Daniele Massaro came up with the idea and was there to host the event and thank all those involved in making it happen. Over the last two years over 230,000 euro have been raised for the Foundation to help in the reconstruction of the De Marchi clinic in Milan and the Heart Ward of Rome La University Hospital.
The Foundation is currently raising funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care ward of the Holy Family Hospital in Nazareth. The hospital, which was originally opened in 1882, cares for the whole population around Nazareth and Galilee. Italian and Italian-trained staff work there.
