MILAN - Felipe Mattioni, under 20 Brazilian national team player, right-back, arrived yesterday to be part of the great Rossoneri's family.
Arrived late afternoon yesterday the official announcement of the club: "A.C. Milan communicate they have purchased the Brazilian footballer Felipe Mattioni on loan with the right to claim." with which Felipe became a Milan player on loan with a right to claim from Gremio, the team of Porto Alegre where Mattioni made 19 appearances in the last Brasileirao, debuting in 2008 in the home game against Nautico, won 2-0.
He's 177 centimetres tall and 72 kgs in weight, he's a very quick full-back who can play in midfield and at times even as a central defender. On the Brazilian talent there were many big European teams, above all Manchester United and Ajax, but yesterday Felipe arrived in his new home, at Milanello, after the medical visits. Carlo Ancelotti will be waiting for him along with his new team-mates to welcome hom.
To those who have already compared him to Cafu, Mattio replied: "No, I'm Felipe."
Mattioni then proved that he has clear ideas with regards to his Rossoneri's future: "I will be available straight away. I'm ready to train with the group and soon I will also be ready to play. However this depends also from the coach. For me this is like a dream come true, I'm happy to be in a club full of champions like Milan."
