AC Milan has announced that The Gordon and Jenny Singer Foundation (TGJSF) has donated $100,000 to the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele [San Raffaele Hospital in Milan] to purchase life-saving ventilators. The Singer family, through its Foundation, is joining the national effort to overcome the coronavirus emergency, lending its support to strengthen the Italian National Health Service [Servizio Sanitario Nazionale].
The sum donated by TGJSF is in addition to the ongoing fundraising campaign launched by AC Milan and Fondazione Milan to support the Azienda Regionale Emergenza Urgenza (AREU) - the emergency response arm of the Lombardy region's government. The campaign has so far raised almost €500,000 and is still active on the following link: www.gofundme.com.
