Noémie Carage was born in Gleizé, in France, on 9 September 1996 and developed as a player at one of the most prestigious acadmies in world football, Olympique Lyon. She made her full league debut with Lyon in 2014/15 and helped them to Division 1 and Coupe de France titles before joining Guingamp the following season. She made the switch to Saint-Étienne in 2016/17, where she found more regular playing time, making 18 league appearances that season. The real turning point, however, came at Dijon, who she joined in the summer of 2018. She spent four seasons with the club, until 2022. She has also performed at youth international level, reaching a European final in 2012 with the U17s and winning the World Cup at the same level.
