Let's get to know the Romanian side that we will face in the third qualifying round
Clubul Sportiv Universitatea Craiova will be our opponents in the third qualifying round of the Europa League. The draw in Nyon has spoken and the Romanian side was picked to face AC Milan in the two-leg knockout round to qualify for the Europa League playoffs. The first leg is on 27 July, the return match is on August 3rd. An unmissable event for all the Red and Black fans to watch AC Milan play in Europe and for the first time this season at San Siro. But let's get to know our next opponents.
The Club from Craiova was founded on 5 September 1948. In the past three years, in Liga 1 the Club ended fifth (2014-15), eighth (2015-16) and fourth last season, qualifying for the Europa League. Their debut match in the 2017-18 league is on Friday 14 July. Among the things to know about our next opponents is their manager Devis Mangia. The Italian coach who joined Universitatea last summer sat on the benches of Palermo, in Serie A and managed Italy Under-21, reaching the final (lost) in the European Championships in 2012.
Not only this: the young squad made up of many Under-21 and Under-19 internationals can now count also on Fausto Rossi, young Italian talent who comes from Vicenza in Serie B and is know teammate of Gustavo Vagenin, who played in the Italian Lega Pro (with Salernitana and Messina). The match will be played at the "Municipal” stadium in Drobeta-Turnu Severin.

Zapata's goal is not enough as Olympiacos win 3-1 to go through to the Round of 32
