Raffaella: "There's a desire to grow and improve." Marco: "We'll give everything"
In attendance at the ‘Premio Gentleman 2019’, Raffaella Manieri was interviewed exclusively by Milan TV after the AC Milan Women's Team had a great debut season in Serie A.
"The Premio Gentleman is a very nice event and it's also good for the women's football movement. We're on the rise and this event could also be useful. We had a really great season, we competed for the Scudetto and Champions League qualification until the final day. On the part of the Club, there's a desire to grow and improve. The women's derby? Since Inter won promotion to Serie A, we’ve started to feel the excitement for this and we can't wait to go out onto the pitch for it."
Milan Primavera will also have a lot to play for in the final match of the season with survival on the line away in Florence. One of the key players in Giunti's side, Marco Brescianini, spoke at the Scuola Militare Teuliè to the Club's TV channel.
"I thank the Club and all of the coaches for the award that I've been presented with and for being here on this great night. Let's hope that there will be other events like this with AC Milan seeing as I've been a fan since birth. In recent games, we've played quite well but results haven't gone our way. On Saturday, we need to win and not look at other results because it all depends on us and we know that Fiorentina are a good side. We've restarted training and we're preparing well as we always have done. We need to show more desire to score and even more desire to not concede. We'll give everything."
