The Rossoneri hard at work at Milanello without Coach Pioli, who was at a referees' meeting in Rome
The Rossoneri trained for the second time this week at Milanello this afternoon as they continued to look ahead to their clash against Napoli at 18:00 CET on Saturday 23 November at San Siro. There was once again a reduced number of players for today's session, which was attended by Sporting Director Frederic Massara. Coach Piolo was absent due to the fact that he was in attendance at a referees' meeting in Rome. Therefore, assistant coach Giacomo Murelli took charge of the session.
To start off, the players activated their muscles in the gym. The Rossoneri then took to the central pitch at Milanello to focus on technique and fitness through a series of exercises: controlled passing was combined with running work, while ball possession drills were also carried out after the team had been divided into three groups.

In the meantime, the goalkeepers did specific work under instruction from their coach Luigi Turci. The Rossoneri continued their session with more technical exercises before finishing things off with a practice match on a reduced section of the pitch. Tomorrow, on Wednesday 20 November, AC Milan will train in the afternoon. The players will meet at Milanello for lunch.
