Alessandro Plizzari was born on 12 March 2000 in Crema, Lombardy, and has been part of the Rossoneri youth academy since he was little. On 11 September 2016 he became the first player born in the 2000s to be called up to Serie A, and in the 2016/17 season he permanently joined the Rossoneri first team as the third goalkeeper.
Between 2017 and 2021 he was sent out on loan to gain experience at three Serie B teams: Ternana, Livorno and Reggina. He also played with the youth National Teams in the meantime, with the bronze medal at the 2017 World Under-20 Championship and reaching the final at the 2018 European Under-19 Championship standing out. On 10 September 2019, he made his debut for the Under-21 team in a 5-0 win over Luxembourg to qualify for the 2021 European Championship.
