Petra Mikulica was born in Croatia on 2 February 2005 and developed as a player at ŽNK Rijeka and, above all, ŽNK Split. There, she made her Champions League debut during the preliminary stages of the tournament in 2022/23, finding the net against Georgian side Lanchkhuti. In September 2022, she also won her first cap for Croatia's senior side, and she went on to make two appearances in 2023 World Cup qualifying. Her first experience in Rossonere colours came during the Viareggio Women's Cup 2023: she scored the decisive penalty in the final as Corti's side triumphed.
