LEÃO WINS GOAL OF THE SEASON 2019/20!

Rafael Leão has won the final showdown, thus becoming the player who scored the Rossoneri’s best goal during the 2019/20 season. Our fans have had their say via the Club’s social media channels: his goal in AC Milan 1-3 Fiorentina on 29 September at San Siro comfortably came out on top, with the Portuguese striker winning the accolade ahead of Kessie. Franck’s long-range strike in AC Milan v Parma might have been magnificent, but it wasn’t enough to beat the 21-year-old striker’s stunning effort.

Indeed, Leão's was a sublime piece of play, with our number 17 demonstrating all his talent in the closing stages of that home clash. Speed, dribbling, precision: before firing across Drągowski and into the net, he had sliced through the Viola defence and left Milenković sitting on the floor. It was his first competitive goal for AC Milan and it came at San Siro, a real positive from a disappointing evening. So positive, in fact, that he has now won this special prize. Well done, Rafa!
