TOMORI MVP OF FIORENTINA V AC MILAN

Fikayo earned the majority of fans' votes after the win in Florence

He didn't score any of the three goals, he didn't even have a hand in them, but he still played a great game. Attentive, solid, effective: dominant. Fikayo Tomori, in only his twelfth appearance with the Rossoneri, has been chosen as the MVP from Fiorentina 2- 3 AC Milan. The English defender earned over 60% of fans' votes – ahead of Çalhanoğlu, Kjær and Díaz – after a substantial, near-perfect performance, perhaps his best since arriving in Italy.

Tomori did not give up an inch in all 94 minutes of play, and above all he did not lose a duel all game. He also stopped the hosts from going 1-0 up when he cleared Cáceres's header off the line, with Donnarumma beaten. Fikayo emerged from the game with three tackles won (the team record), five balls recovered, 46 positive passes and four positive long passes. Numbers fit for an MVP, a great performance from a great player. Congratulations!
