I am currently the president of the L’Aquila Milan Club, but I was born and raised in Milan, I’d barely been baptized when I was first brought to San Siro for our 3-nil win over Fiorentina, in the 1986/87 season. Virdis bagged a brace on that occasion but more memorably Franco Baresi had scored, too! That was when my love for the first team of this city began. The following year, van Basten and Gullit joined the club and my adoration grew deeper. One game I could never forget is the 3-2 win over Ajax in the 2002/2003 season, that was when I started to believe we’d win the Champions League. I’ve travelled with the team for a lot of great games but one that springs to mind was in Reggina, 2003/04 because it had taken so long to get there by train. However, the one that I will never forget is Manchester, on 28 May 2003, the final against Juventus!

Unforgettable memories of great Rossonere games, the encounters that have created generations of fans through the years. You’ve seen a lot, Lorenzo, but you’ve so much more to see.
