UNDER 15, CLEAR VALUES AND IDENTITY

Taking stock for Bertuzzo's boys at the end of 2022

Our Under-15s hit five past FC Südtirol to get back to winning ways following back-to-back defeats to Inter and then Udinese, which interrupted a perfect start of six wins from six games. Robert Bertuzzo's side are currently second in Group B, six points behind their crosstown rivals. So, let's take stock at the end of 2022.

The young Rossoneri started the year as defending champions at under-15 level, one of three national titles won by AC Milan last season. Should the Rossoneri stay in second, they would qualify directly for the nationals finals - more specifically the round of 16 - and currently have a two-point lead over third-placed Atalanta.

Our 2007s have looked great going forward; with 33 goals scored, they have the best attack in their group and the third-best overall. They're tight at the back as well, having conceded just six goals in nine games. Again, they have the best defence in the group and the third-best overall. Their top goalscorers thus far are Comotto with seven and La Mantia with six, though a total of twelve Rossoneri have got on the scoresheet in 2022/23.

"It's been a positive season so far," said coach Bertuzzo. "We've brought in six new players and even have a player born in 2009 in the squad. The boys are all applying themselves, even those that are playing less than the others, which makes life much easier. The team is showing total determination and this has created benefits that mean this team has a clear identity and values."
