UNDER 18s, VICTORY AND REVIVAL

From the four goals against Parma to Verona: the rise of the lethal Chiesurin

Expected and important. The victory at Parma, the first of the new year, gave a jolt to the Rossoneri's Under 18 team. The three points had been missing since the away match in Turin at the beginning of December, before the draw in Cagliari before the break and the home match against SPAL at the end of January. And it was the Ferrara leaders who just lost points, allowing Inter in second (2 points behind) and AC Milan in third (7 points behind) to reduce the gap.

In the 14th game of the season, Terni's team scored four, repeating the feats against Monza (4-0) and Atalanta (4-2), and also redeeming themselves after the first leg. Alberto Chiesurin, the team's top scorer with seven goals, opened the scoring: "I am happy first of all with the victory, and that my goal also contributed to it. Being top scorer? Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it's a pleasure, and I'm very proud of it, especially playing as a midfielder."

The other goals were scored by Tavernaro, Lanotte and Andrews. All in all it was a performance of strength and quality, going ahead early and already safe by the end. A very good signal to regain credit and confidence at a crucial time, aiming for the Top Four that will give them the category Scudetto.

The next game will be at the PUMA House of Football, Sunday at 15.00 CET, against Hellas Verona who are behind the Diavolo in the table and therefore have to face the highest commitment in order to overcome a challenging but hardly easy test the weekend before the Derby: "We must continue to train as we are doing, aware that we can no longer make mistakes and that we have all the characteristics to get to the Playoffs. Against Verona as against Parma: nastiness, concentration and team spirit. The Derby? I don't want to think about it too much, we have to do things calmly step by step".
