FRANCE EDGE OUT IRELAND, WINS ALSO FOR ASTER AND ISMA

Two games, two wins. After a disappointing World Cup in Qatar, France have got back to business in fine fashion; first, they beat the Netherlands 4-0 a few days ago, and last night narrowly edged out the Republic of Ireland 1-0 at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, thanks to Pavard's goal. All three Rossoneri started for Deschamps' side: Giroud played for 65 minutes, before being replaced by Diaby, while Theo Hernández and Maignan played the full 90.
