LEGENDS OF STYLE: AC MILAN v FC BARCELONA

AC Milan and FC Barcelona have announced an international tour to celebrate the history, the glory and the identity of two of the greatest football clubs in the world as they celebrate their 120th anniversary together. The tour is an opportunity to celebrate the past achievements of the two clubs and to plan a bright future together. The ambitious initiative will officially kick off at 11am on November 29, 2019 at the Camp Nou in Barcelona, with an event that will be attended by AC Milan and FC Barcelona representatives and legends, including Demetrio Albertini.

"Legends of Style", which will run from November 29, 2019 to December 16, 2020, is the name chosen for the ambitious project launched by FC Barcelona and AC Milan to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the foundation of the two clubs. Both clubs were founded in 1899 and ascended to the top of world football with their national and international successes. The two clubs are joint by their history and successes, but also by their unique style on and off the pitch.

Their dominant mentality and the aesthetics of their style of play are acknowledged as distinguishing features, adding value to the DNA of the two clubs. Beauty, elegance and class, on and off the pitch, have defined their style and have contributed to changing the way we know the game. The strong national identity of the two clubs has never prevented AC Milan and FC Barcelona from developing and embracing a strong international appeal. The clubs have been able to promote their brands and identity all over the world, supported by the winning image of their footballers and ambassadors.

The 120th anniversary is going to give fans the opportunity to experience the values and the history of the two clubs, with the first international tour that will see legends of the two Clubs playing against each other across the globe. A tour that, whilst celebrating the past, is going to look ahead at the future of the two clubs.
