PIOLI: "A MATCH TO SHOW OUR PERSONALITY"

The Coach and Krunić speak from London ahead of Tottenham v AC Milan

The Rossoneri are in London for the Champions League Round of 16. Ahead of one of the biggest games of the season, Stefano Pioli and Rade Krunić held the customary pre-match press conference to discuss Tottenham v AC Milan. Here's what they had to say:

STEFANO PIOLI

GAMEPLAN
"We're on a bit of a wave. We go into this one with a lot of confidence, enthusiasm and determination. We need to approach the game well, keep our shape and hold our nerve. We'll have to be at our best technically and make good decisions. Key moments could make all the difference. The lads will need to put their personality on display. The slim lead doesn't mean we can sit back: we need to attack."

TOTTENHAM
"Having your coach on the sidelines is always important; Conte's return will give Tottenham a boost. Spurs will be well prepared and highly motivated, and they will surely give everything to try and go through. As will we. They'll play with greater intensity than they did in the first leg. We expect them to be much more aggressive, especially at the start of each half. They're dangerous after the break."

ATMOSPHERE
"The stadium will be an inferno, which will lift their players, but we want to try and do the business in stadiums like this. However, the fans can't score... Our fans at San Siro were amazing and they'll push us forwards now, like always."

COMPLETE COHORT
"Giroud and Díaz are well, as are all the rest; the team is ready. Recent results in the league won't have an impact and this second leg will also be a different game to the first."

RADE KRUNIĆ

MILAN'S EUROPEAN NIGHT
"We deserve to be where we are now. We are expecting a tough game but we're AC Milan and we need to play like AC Milan do on the big stage. We've prepared as best we can. We have a slight lead but our gameplan won't change: we'll try to keep possession and dictate the game. Each one of us has to contribute both in defence and attack. Key moments could make the difference."

HARD WORK
"I consider myself to be a jack of all trades; being able to play in multiple positions is an advantage for me and something that the coach appreciates. I don't like comparisons; I am Rade and I can help the team in my own way. I'm ready."
