The Derby disappointment continues for AC Milan Primavera, who were beaten by Inter again this season. But if the 3-0 loss from the reverse fixture was deserved, the 1-0 defeat in Sesto San Giovanni today was a whole other story. The Rossoneri went toe-to-toe with the league leaders, even missing a penalty through Olzer. It was at the start of the game but was a really decisive moment because, from then on, the team struggled to carve out chances. Satriano's goal on the half-hour mark proved enough for the hosts. It was a performance that greatly deviated from recent dazzling displays and the Diavolo looked off the pace - due in no small part to a number of absences up top.
Thus, our Primavera have lost that unbeaten streak that has lasted for a month and a half, and the drive for the playoffs is halted for the moment (one point behind but both SPAL and Atalanta have a game in hand). They stay in eighth position on 38 points. The main positive to take is the schedule because we go again at 15:00 CEST on Saturday 29 May when AC Milan host Sampdoria on matchday 26. We're still on the right track and we have to believe in order to react as soon as possible.

REPORT
Giunti was forced into a change just before kick-off as Capone pulled up during the warm-up; Robotti replaced him in the starting line-up. It was a real derby right from the off as both teams gave it their all. AC Milan had a great chance to take the lead in the 11th minute after Vezzoni brought Olzer down in the box. Jack stepped up to take the penalty but Stanković made the save. Inter reacted well and Satriano's header (16') and Oristiano's shot (20') were saved by Jungdal. Satriano put the hosts one up in the 29th minute; Jungdal made the save to deny Oristiano but Satriano latched onto the rebound and turned it home. The Rossoneri pushed hard but struggled to react. Oristiano then came close with a header that hit the post from a few yards out (43'). Half time.
No changes at the break. The Diavolo also started the second half as the better of the two sides. Roback set off down the wing and played the ball into the box; the ball was cleared but dropped to Di Gesù, who headed off target (55'). The hosts threatened through Oristiano, who fired over from the edge of the box (59') and was then denied by the keeper from close range (59'). Nasti and N'Gbesso were sent on to provide some fresh legs off the bench but the game remained a cagey one, devoid of much goalmouth action. In the 73rd minute, a chance dropped the way of Olzer but Stanković was quick off his line to claim Oddi's cross. Saco and Tolomello got on too. Too little too late and there were no real opportunities to equalise, save for a half-chance that was put wide by Frigerio. Full time.
