It was an afternoon to forget for the AC Milan Primavera, who were beaten 4-1 by Bologna after a game of two halves. The first 45 was good to the Rossoneri as they took the lead through Robotti and almost bagged a second through Traorè. The second half began in the worst way possible, however, as Pseftis was sent off, which gave way to the Rossoblù capitalising on their numerical advantage and they scored four unanswered goals.
As the first half wound to a close, Andrea Capone sustained a serious injury, which saw him leave the pitch in tears. The initial diagnosis is a severe knee sprain, the extent of which will be evaluated in the coming days. Giunti's team will need to move on from today as soon as possible as they look to mathematically secure salvation. The Rossoneri's are back in action next Friday when they travel to Empoli.

MATCH REPORT
Federico Giunti made a raft of changes, with Robotti and Capone returning to the starting XI and Camara being deployed down the right. Chances were few and far between in the opening stages neither side could settle into a good rhythm. The first opportunity of the afternoon fell to the Rossoneri in the 23rd minute; Capone took a free-kick from a good position but it was deflected off the wall and behind for a corner. AC Milan scored from the ensuing corner as Robotti headed home, leaving Bagnolini with no chance. The goal didn't change the overall flow of the game; Bologna threatened in the 36th minute when Pagliuca's deflected effort struck the post before Traorè went close to doubling the Rossoneri's lead. The first half ended with the aforementioned injury to Capone, which shocked everyone present.
Omoregbe came on to replace the Rossoneri's number 10 at the start of the second half. The turning point came in the 48th minute when a mix-up at the back led to Pseftis bringing Pagliuca down. It was a double blow as our goalkeeper received a straight red card and Wallius scored from the resulting free-kick. The Rossoneri reacted well and Robotti almost restored the hosts' lead but fired over. The guests took the lead in the 56th minute through Raimondo, who latched onto a poor clearance from Desplanches and stuck it home. AC Milan looked to hit back and almost did so in the 75th minute but Coubis headed wide. Any hopes of a comeback were dashed two minutes later as Bologna scored their third through Rocchi. The guests then got a fourth through Urbanski. Full time.
