The Primavera's extroardinary run of results came to an end at ten matches. Mayulu's goal decided the game in the third round of matches in Group F of the Youth League between PSG and AC Milan at the Stade Georges-Lefèvre, handing Abate's team their first loss of the season. The Rossoneri definitely should have come away with more. Lots of opportunities to score for a lively AC Milan team that raced through a lot of the match, especially at the beginning of the two halves and the frantic end to the game but little composure in the decisive moments in front of goal.
During the middle periods of the two halves, the hosts were able to decrease the tempo of the match, closing down spaces and managing the lead they had taken just before the break. The Rossoneri's opponents have now drawn level with them in the standings, but the boys showed once again that they are able to compete on any pitch, showing their courage and style of play. Their gaze will already be towards the return fixture, but first, Sunday 29 October, Sampdoria await us at the PUMA House of Football for the next round in the league. Forza ragazzi!

MATCH REPORT
AC Milan put the pressure on early. In the second minute, from Zeroli's ball, Sia and Sala's efforts were somehow saved by Mouquet, whilst in the 6th minute, the Parisian goalkeeper threw himself at Stalmach's left-footed curler, served up to him by Victor. The hosts responded in the 10th minute with an attempt from Bensoula, wide. The teams were tentative in the middle of the pitch, decreasing the tempo and creating very few real chances. In the last minutes of the half, however, PSG grew into the game, first coming close with El Hannach (36') and Mbappe (37') before finally taking the lead through Mayulu in the 39th minute with a thunderous strike that crashed the underside of the crossbar and bounced in. The half ended without any stoppage time, 1-0 at the interval.
The Rossoneri came out reinvigorated. The Parisian defence blocked efforts from Cuenca and Victor, but AC Milan did not stop there. In the 48', a double chance for Jiménez and Zeroli: the Spaniard brought the ball inside and struck hard and low, the captain headed from Cuenca's cross, both efforts just wide of the post. AC Milan were lively, PSG's only threat came on the break. 61', Simić closed down Mendy very well before blocking from Zague, when Bartoccioni blocked at his near post in 74'. The final quarter of an hour was all Rossonero, but the Parisians closed down every space, keeping eleven men behind the ball. It was a Milan siege in the dying stages: 91' Zeroli's quick exchange with Scotti before striking just wide of the post, whilst Mouquet was equal to Sia's volleyed effort in the 94th minute. 1-0 full-time.
