A golden opportunity missed for the Primavera. Verona’s draw was a gift for AC Milan: a win would have put them back in the play-off zone with just one matchday left in the league. Instead, they were dealt a huge blow. In Orbassano, Torino ran out 2-1 winners after a match that unexpectedly slipped out of the Rossoneri's hands early in the second half due to some costly lapses in concentration. In the first half, the team played with focus and created chances, but then Dalla Vecchia and Gabellini ruined the Diavolo's plans. Bonomi reduced the arrears, but it wasn't enough.
After encouraging wins against Lazio (2-0) and Udinese (4-0), the Primavera have fallen to a hugely disappointing defeat, one which significantly hurts their chances of finishing in the top six. The Rossoneri remain on 58 points in the table - two adrift of sixth - and now a victory over Genoa at the PUMA House of Football next weekend won't necessarily be enough: AC Milan need Hellas to slip up. All the team can do is move on and put everything into their final game. It's a bitter pill to swallow, but giving up isn't an option. Let’s fight to the very end of the season.

MATCH REPORT
It was a fast and lively start to the match, with both teams going for it. There were plenty of attacking moves, even if - apart from a fifth-minute Sala effort that was saved by the goalkeeper - goalmouth action was lacking. AC Milan looked to take control: Bonomi had a free-kick blocked by Zaia (18'), while Magni forced Plaia into a great stop three minutes later. At the other end, Gabellini fired narrowly over from the edge of the box after a Torino counter. We went back on the attack: Plaia kept out an attempt from Bonomi (27'), while Hodzic failed to hit the target after a solo run from Comotto.
The second half started in the worst way possible. The Granata took the lead in the 47th minute: Gabellini played in a cross for Dalla Vecchia, who headed into the net. Two minutes later, Sala brought down Gabellini for a Torino penalty that was converted by the same Granata man. It was a psychological blow from which the Rossoneri struggled to recover. On the 62-minute mark, Hodzic shot wide with his left foot. Then, a save from Pittarella sparked a counter-attack which ended with Hodzic heading a Magni cross off target. In the 82nd minute, Scotti was fouled by Plaia in the box and Bonomi kept his cool from the penalty spot. However, it wasn't enough as the Rossoneri fell to defeat.
