PRIMAVERA RESCUE POINT AGAINST JUVE IN VINOVO

Domniței makes it 1-1 from the spot to cancel out the Bianconeri's lead to give the Rossoneri a point

A combative and alert AC Milan side came away from Vinovo with a draw. It finished 1-1 against hosts Juventus after Francesco Domniței equalised from the spot late into the first half. The Bianconeri had taken the lead through Bellino in the 29th minute, but Renna's Rossoneri kept at it and got their reward. It was Domniței's second goal in as many games after he netted against Bologna in the Rossoneri's previous fixture.

There were plenty of positives from a game that the team had gone into, similarly to previous weeks, with a number of absences to deal with. Going behind galvanised the team, and they were led by the drive and hunger of Mancioppi, who fought for every ball. After a tough first half, Colombo did well to react and came close to netting what would have been the winner in the second half. The Primavera have finished March without a win, and now they have two weeks without any league football. When they are back from the break, they will take on Lecce.

MATCH REPORT
The Rossoneri had a near instant chance to take the lead, as Borsani's effort in the third minute was blocked clear by Huli. Juventus preferred to control possession of the football, while the Rossoneri were organised in defence and looked to hit the hosts on the counter. They did get on the break in the 22nd minute, as Mancioppi received the ball on the edge of the box from Borsani but sent his effort whistling just off target. It was then Juventus who found the opener: Leone wriggled free of Tartaglia and sent the ball into the box; Bouyer smothered it, but Bellino latched onto the loose ball and made it 1-0 to the Bianconeri.

AC Milan reacted brilliantly and came close to an equaliser in the 33rd minute, but Batistini was denied the chance to shoot from just two yards out. They worked their way into the box in the 41st minute, and the referee pointed to the spot for a foul by Grelaud on Domniței. Francesco then stepped up to take it and slotted it down the minute to make it 1-1. After the break, there were far fewer chances than in the first half, apart from a great save by Bouyer and a spurned headed chance for Colombo in the 83rd minute. It ended 1-1.
