KESSIE SCORES FOR IVORY COAST, DÍAZ PROVIDES AN ASSIST

Matchday four of Africa Cup of Nations qualifying kicked off yesterday at Stade Barikamdimy in Toamasina, Madagascar. In the 1-1 draw between Ivory Coast and Madagascar in Group K, Franck Kessie got his side off to a good start in the 15th minute, scoring his third goal in Les Éléphants shirt. In the 51st minute, Amada fired home an equaliser for the hosts. In their clashes against Niger and Ethiopia in March, Ivory Coast will be playing to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Spain’s Under-21s, who had already qualified for EURO 2021, beat Israel 3-0 at Estadio Municipal de Marbella. Brahim Díaz came on for Oscar in the 58th minute, in time to provide Barrenetxea with an assist to make it 2-0 in the 75th minute.
