KJÆR SCORES, HERNÁNDEZ MAKES HIS DEBUT

Wins for Denmark, France, Senegal and Italy U21, draws for Bosnia and Algeria

Five Rossoneri were in action on the penultimate evening of the international window. Simon Kjær takes the headlines as he scored the second of Denmark's five goals in a thumping win (5-0) over Israel in Copenhagen on matchday 6 of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup. Kjær, in the 31st minute, did really well to pick up a pocket of space in the box and head home from a Daniel Wass corner kick. Denmark are currently top of Group F with six wins from six games (18 points).

We also have to make a mention of Theo Hernández's official debut for France. Theo started and played the full 90 in Les Blues' 2-0 win over Finland in Lyon (Greizmann brace) as they stayed top of Group B on 12 points. Mike Maignan was an unused substitute. Rade Krunić didn't take part in the 2-2 draw between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kazakhstan in Zenica.

Fodé Ballo-Touré's Senegal ran out 3-1 winners over the Congo in Brazzaville; he played 61 minutes at left-back. Ismaël Bennacer played the full 90 in Algeria's 1-1 draw with Burkina Faso in Marrakech. Italy U21 recorded a vital win in EURO 2023 qualifying; Sandro Tonali started as the team's regista in a 1-0 victory over Montenegro in Vicenza, while Alessandro Plizzari remained an unused substitute.
