CROATIA WIN AND MODRIĆ HEADS TO THE WORLD CUP

Germany 2006, Brazil 2014, Russia 2018, Qatar 2022 and... USA-Canada-Mexico 2026. Croatia have qualified for the World Cup following their 3-1 win over the Faroe Islands, meaning that Luka Modrić will compete in his fifth World Cup. After France and England, Croatia are the third European team to qualify. Our midfielder, the Croatia Captain, played one hour before being substituted. 

Yesterday, other Rossoneri were also in action: 90 minutes for Davide Bartesaghi for Italy Under-21's, who were defeated by Poland; 90 minutes for Zachary Athekame with the Switzerland Under-21 team, in their 1-1 draw with France. David Odogu started for Germany Under-20's in their 6-0 win over Romania, in the Elite League U20 tournament.
