FRIENDLY WINS FOR ESTUPIÑAN AND GIMENEZ

Pervis Estupiñan and Santiago Gimenez were in action overnight (Italian time), taking part in two friendlies ahead of the upcoming World Cup. The Ecuador team, which features our number two, who played for 94 minutes, faced Saudi Arabia in Harrison, New Jersey, and won 2-1 thanks to goals from Porozo and Valencia. 

As for Mexico, they faced Australia at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles. The Mexican team secured a narrow victory thanks to a goal from Genoa defender Johan Vásquez. Santiago Gimenez came on at the start of the second half, making his first appearance for El Tri since October after a long absence due to injury.
