The expansion process of the Milan Academies worldwide is ongoing relentlessly. AC Milan and Hojtsu Vietnam CO. LTD signed a five-year partnership for the opening of a football school in Hanoi: this is the first Academy in Vietnam.
The goal of the first year of activity is to enrol about 150 kids, who will be welcomed – starting September 2019 until 2024 - at the Back Khoa Stadium and the My Dinh Youth Training Sport Center. Vietnamese children will be able to grow and to develop values such as discipline and thinking skills while having fun, under the supervision Davide Battistini, AC Milan's coach who will carry out the mission. Thanks to this partnership there will be the possibility to develop other initiatives tied to the Milan Academy on the territory such as the Junior Camps or to organize the Milan Experience activities so local kids may live the unique experience of being able to train at ACM facilities and to attend a match at San Siro.
ACMilan's full-time coach will train local coaches, so, in a country like Vietnam, where football is the national sport, they will be able to boost the skills of the Academy's footballers. The Vietnamese people, in fact, love watching the local championship as well as the European ones, in particular Premier League, La Liga and Serie A, and AC Milan is among the most loved and important teams. In Hanoi, the Country's capital with 8m inhabitants, there are more than 60 football pitches, 95% of which are cutting-edge structures with synthetic pitch and lighting system.
Therefore, the Milan International Academy project continues to grow, and this new partnership brings the number of AC Milan international soccer schools to 17 after the recent renewals in Algeria and Sweden and the new agreement with the Russian Soccer School of Voronezh.
