MILAN FUTURO BEATEN 2-1 BY VILLA VALLE

The 10-man Rossoneri equalised through Ibrahimović, but lost in the final stages

At the VyllStadium in Villa d’Almè, Villa Valle claimed a 2-1 win over Milan Futuro. The hosts seized control immediately: in the first half, Ravasi opened the scoring for the hosts, Milan Futuro went down to ten men after Sala’s red card, and Villa Valle missed a penalty that would have made it 2–0. It looked like the Rossoneri were set for a long afternoon, but they rallied well and responded after the break. Ibrahimović’s goal levelled the game, after which Milan Futuro sustained possession and had a series of chances, denied only by a superb display from Villa Valle goalkeeper Passeri. However, just when the match seemed to be heading in a positive direction, Simone Sgrò’s side pulled a rabbit out of the hat: Perrotti picked out the far corner with a phenomenal finish from the edge of the box to steal the win late on.

A game of two halves for Milan Futuro: after a tense, complicated opening period, the Rossoneri responded with real personality despite being a man down, posing a real threat in the opposition half. Ibrahimović’s goal and overall performance stood out, but Asanji’s physical impact — causing problems for the home defence throughout — was equally impressive. A second straight defeat keeps Milan Futuro in the middle of the table, but there’s an immediate opportunity to get back on track on Wednesday, when they face Real Calepina in the rescheduled Matchday 12 fixture in Solbiate Arno.

MATCH REPORT
Milan Futuro made an uphill start at the VyllStadium. Six minutes in, a low corner found Ravasi at the near post, and his first-time flick put the hosts 1–0 up. Milan Futuro tried to reply from a set piece in the 12th minute, but Duțu arrived just late. In the 27th minute, Traorè combined with Ibrahimović before seeing his shot blocked, and soon after a slick exchange between Borsani and Cappelletti set up Ibrahimović again, but his back-heel attempt was turned behind. A major chance came 32 minutes in, when Karaca burst through and squared it for Sia, but he fired over. In the 36th, a defensive error let Ravasi break clear; Sala brought him down and Barbatelli was forced to show him a red card. Just before half-time, Bellandi won a penalty, but Ravasi struck wide, leaving it 1–0 as Villa Valle tried to make the most of their numerical advantage.

The second half began brightly. Ibrahimović drew a save from Passeri in the 47th minute, and a minute later Torriani was forced to deny Perrotti from distance. Milan Futuro grew into the game: Duțu forced another save with a header in the 54th minute, after which Asanji tried to get on the end of the resulting corner, but nodded over. The breakthrough came in the 57th minute when Cappelletti burst down the right, delivering it into the box for Ibrahimović to sweep in. Milan Futuro pushed for a comeback, with Karaca threatening twice and Duțu going close again, but Passeri held firm. In the 76th minute, Martinelli made a miraculous block to stop Ibrahimović from point-blank range, a moment that proved decisive. Futuro faded late on and Villa Valle regained control. After a series of deflections and corners, Perrotti sealed it in the 84th minute, cutting inside and curling the decider into the corner to secure the 2–1 win.
