MILANELLO: AHEAD OF THE COPPA ITALIA

After getting all three points in the Derby, the Rossoneri arrived at Milanello this morning for breakfast before heading to the changing rooms ahead of today's training session, in preparation for their next match in the Coppa Italia, which will see AC Milan face Lazio in their quarter-final knockout match on Wednesday 9 February at 21:00 CET at San Siro. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara were also present at Milanello.

Some light work in the gym for those who featured in Inter v AC Milan, on the pitch however the rest of the squad began the day with muscular exercises which were conducted using low hurdles and cones. The session continued with a series of 2 vs 2 mini matches and then some work focusing ball possession, followed by finishing-focused technical exercises. Finally, there was time for a match on a reduced pitch.

Tomorrow's programme will consist of a morning training session.
