It was a midweek matchday to forget for Federico Giunti's Primavera side, who lost 3-1 to Pescara at the Delfino Training Centre. This defeat represents a step backwards in terms of performance levels. Apart from a decent spell late in the first half, in which Foglio equalised and El Hilali hit the post, the Rossoneri largely struggled to deal with the energy and aggression of the Abruzzo-based outfit.
The run of poor form continues - four defeats in five games - and AC Milan today went down to ten men after Nsiala was sent off. With five games left to play until the end of the regular season, the Rossoneri are slipping further into the bottom half of the table, so a big reaction will be needed against Bologna on Saturday afternoon (15:00 CEST at Vismara).

REPORT
The game began in the worst way possible for the Rossoneri, who found themselves a goal down after just 50 seconds as Amer Mehić got the telling touch on the corner. Pescara went close to a second through ex-AC Milan man Amore in the 11th minute, but Pseftis produced a brilliant stop. The Rossoneri then began to grow into the game after a difficult start. In the 16th minute, Bosisio made a good run to get on the end of a corner but headed just wide. The Rossoneri did get their goal in the 23rd minute; El Hilali brought it under his control in the box and fed Foglio, who fired past goalkeeper Di Carlo to bag his first goal for the Primavera. The goal seemed to unleash the Rossoneri, who came close to taking the lead at the half-hour mark but El Hilali's effort following a free-kick crashed against the post. The tempo of the game slowed up as the first half drew on but Pescara restored their lead just before the break as Mehić headed home for his brace - Pseftis had no chance.
The slow tempo of the game continued into the second half as the two sides traded possession without creating any real danger. Then, in the 56th minute, Traorè had a go from a free-kick, which Di Carlo managed to keep out. Nsiala saw red in the 63rd minute for a foul off the ball. It was the turning point of the second half as, just one minute later, the hosts doubled their lead through Napoletano. The Rossoneri struggled from there on in and Pescara almost grabbed a fourth through Salvatore, who forced Pseftis into a good stop. The Rossoneri, meanwhile, came close through an attempt from Roback in the 89th minute. It ended 3-1.
