PRIMAVERA 1 2026/27 BEGINS WITH AC MILAN v TORINO

Rossoneri face the Granata at the PUMA House of Football on 22/23 August, ending the campaign away to Cagliari

Milan Primavera will begin the 2026/27 season at home at the PUMA House of Football. The opening round of the Primavera 1 will see the Rossoneri face the same opponents they ended the 2025/26 campaign against, Torino, on the weekend of 22-23 August, which also marks the start of the Serie A season. Their first away fixture will follow a week later against Cesena, before September opens with a blockbuster clash against Juventus, coinciding with the senior sides meeting in Serie A with the venues reversed. Another key date to note is the derby, scheduled as the final fixture before the Christmas break on 19-20 December at Inter, with the return match at home set for 1 May 2027. Milan Primavera will conclude the regular season on 22-23 May with an away fixture against Cagliari in Sardinia.

The Primavera 1 Championship calendar will follow the same international breaks and the Christmas break as Serie A. Three midweek rounds are scheduled, on 16 December, 6 January and 3 March. There are no changes to the competition format, which will once again feature 20 teams, including newly promoted Como 1907, Empoli and UC AlbinoLeffe. The top six teams at the end of the regular season will qualify for the Scudetto play-offs. As usual, Milan Primavera will also compete in the Primavera Coppa Italia, entering the competition from the Round of 32, scheduled for 28 October. For the 2026/27 season, the Primavera age category will be based on players born in 2007. The existing overage-player regulations remain unchanged, allowing clubs to include one overage player (with no age limit) on the matchday squad throughout the regular season, excluding the final five league matches.
