Davide Bartesaghi was born in Erba on 29 December 2005. After his early experiences in Atalanta's youth sector, he joined Milan's Pulcini (U9) in 2012. He rose through all the Rossoneri youth ranks, reaching the Primavera team in the 2022/23 season, where he played a key role in the side that reached the UEFA Youth League Final and the Scudetto Playoffs and multiple appearances under Pioli. He made his Serie A debut on 23 September against Hellas Verona and his Champions League debut in the win at Newcastle on 13 December. By the end of the 2024/25 season, he had made 14 appearances for Milan across all competitions, along with a valuable developmental spell at Milan Futuro, where he played 31 matches and scored his first professional goal, against Legnago. It is also worth noting his time with Italy's youth national teams: he has played for the Under-18, Under-19, and Under-20 sides, with a particularly impressive performance at the 2024 Under-19 Euros.
