Thea Kyvåg was born in Oslo on 1 January 2004 and took her first footballing steps with Gjelleråsen IF, where she shone from a very young age, scoring 26 goals in 16 matches during a single season. In 2020, she signed her first professional contract with LSK Kvinner, making her debut in the Norwegian top-flight at just 16 years of age. She had a brief spell in England in 2022, where she played for West Ham United, before returning to LSK Kvinner in January 2023. She made 100 appearances for the club and established her place as one of the most promising forwards in the Scandinavian footballing world. Alongside her club career, she has represented Norway in all of its youth teams; currently, she is part of the Norway Under-23 team, with a highlight being her participation in the 2022 Under-19 European Championship.
