One of the favourites of Nereo Rocco who had noticed him since his debut with Padova, Albertino Bigon joined AC Milan in 1971, after playing with the jerseys of Spal, Napoli and Foggia. Originally playing forward, lean, but tactically brilliant, he gradually moved backwards to become an attacking midfielder with a habit of scoring goals. In nine years with the Rossoneri he won a European Cup Winners’ Cup, 3 Italian Cups and the league title that added a star on the club’s jersey, contributing to this achievement with 12 goals.
