Montecatini Terme (PT)
One of the favourites of Gipo Viani who had previously helped him refine his acrobatic skills during his experiences with Palermo and Roma, Carlo Galli joined his mentor at Milan in 1956, in exchange for the mature Gunnar Nordahl who left for the capital city. Tall and thin, in his five seasons at Milan he won two league titles and scored 47 goals in the championship. Unforgettable were his five goals scored to Lazio on 13 April 1958 at San Siro.
